Hi,

I believe everybody is aware of the fact that a new release of SableVM
is long overdue. Actually it's been months already since SableVM SDK
had its first prerelease. We would really want to release SableVM SDK
for Java version 1.13 on MONDAY EVENING. Due to timing and resource
constrains if the release doesn't happen by then, it might not happen
for weeks again. This would be really bad.

We need help testing this prerelease so that all found problems could
be fixed ASAP. This is especially important as we still lack automated
daily testing. OTOH testing doesn't require highly special skills. If
you haven't been actively participating in SableVM mailing lists and
development this is a good occasion to join in! To make it easier for
you to pick what to test, here's the suggested minimal list:

* Mauve (maybe somebody from SNAP Platform devs who's not gone ATM?)
* Your favourite app (try to make sure there's no regressions)
* Your platform (make sure SableVM SDK for Java compiles and runs)
* Eclipse (I can tell it starts, it seems to run OK, it shuts down, but
having an actual user take it for a ride is needed)
* Jetty, Tomcat, Ant, SableCC, ...

Ideally, I'd want to get just a few emails saying shortly what was
tested, and whether there were any problems or not. You can fetch pre3
immediately from

Help SableVM SDK happen!
