Hi Sergio,

I do not know much about eCos. What kind of OS does it have? Does it
run any version of Linux or BSD? If yes, then usually porting SableVM
involves writing very few lines of sometimes tricky code in:

 src/libsablevm/include/jni_system_specific.h
 src/libsablevm/system.h
 src/libsablevm/system.c

You also need to make sure that the native code of class libraries also
compiles for eCos.

On windows, I know that some people got SableVM running using the cygwin
environment. I am not aware, so far, of a port of SableVM (and most
importantly, its class libraries) to run using Microsoft's development
tools.

The currently starting move to use the Harmony class libraries should
help, in the future, to offer better Windows support, yet they have not
yet been ported to many platforms...
