Can gcc target eCos? That would make for an even simpler port. The idea looks nice, if you're willing to work on it. The architecture being i386, I see no big road block ahead. Just ask for help, when you need it. Also, it would be nice if you contributed back your port, when it's done. :-) Have fun!
