Option 1:
jikes wrapper script.

Simple solution and works with releases of SableVM.


Option 2:
experimental java-config support

and associated patches/supplemental files:

The ebuild will get latest version from staging branch which has basic
JAVA_HOME-support.

In addition, it will add 20sablevm (for java-config) and javac (jikes
wrapper).  So it is possible to select SableVM for the VM with
java-config and use:
javac HelloWorld.java
and
java HelloWorld
as with other VMs installed on Gentoo.

Note: The sablevm-svn ebuild conflicts with the Gentoo release ebuild,
so will need to unemerge the SableVM release...  I started working on
this issue but did not have time to complete.
