In particular the problems with Swing/AWT segfaulting are all solved, along with a few other bugs, in 1.11.3. See http://sablevm.org/lists/sablevm-user/2005-April/000260.html where Rene Wagner says he made SableVM 1.11.3 available in OpenEmbedded.
