The short answer is no.

The long is that given your quesion the answer will always be no. If
you ask whether Ford XYZ is the same as Subaru 123... the answer will
always be no. They will never be the same, right?

The question you should be asking is whether you can get your job done
with SableVM 1.11.3. If you do then we're starting getting somewhere.

Then the answer is: it depends on the job. There are small and big
programs whe know work well with SableVM (Eclipse, Ant, Jetty, etc.),
but there's still plenty of these (mainly the ones using a lot of Swing)
that won't work reasonably well yet.

The best is to try out your apps and then if you run into problems ask
on the sablevm-user mailing list for help. Sometimes a program just
needs an extra configuration option changed to make it work with a free
Virtual Machine for Java. Sometimes we will happily fix a bug you
found. Sometimes we'll say that this piece is not yet implemented and
we'll put it onto TODO list.

This way or another sharing your experiences will be beneficial for
others and for you too.

Thanks for trying out SableVM,
