Hi, you asked for some feedback about your pre3 version of sablevm.
Well, i cant build it. First during configure it said it uses the built in
fastjar, which was fine for me, because i didnt have fastjar installed.
Then i had a error because of the built in fastjar, sadly i cant remember the
error.
Then i installed fastjar and tried to compile sablevm again. it correctly saw
my newly installed fastjar and used it, but the compiling stopped with this
error:
if test
"x/home/beat/files/programme/misc/sablevm-sdk-1.12-pre3/sablevm-sdk-1.12-pre3/bin/fastjar" !=
"x"; then \
/home/beat/files/programme/misc/sablevm-sdk-1.12-pre3/sablevm-sdk-1.12-pre3/bin/fastjar
-0 -Mcf libclasspath.jar gnu java javax org > /dev/null; \
elif test "x" != "x"; then \
-0 -r -D libclasspath.jar gnu java javax org > /dev/null; fi
One of options -{ctxu} must be specified.
Usage: /usr/local/bin/fastjar {ctxuV}[vfm0ME@] [jar-file] [manifest-file] [-C
dir] files ...
Options
-c create new archive
-t list table of contents for archive
-x extract named (or all) files from archive
-u update existing archive
-V display version information
-v generate verbose output on standard output
-f specify archive file name
-m include manifest information from specified manifest file
-0 store only; use no ZIP compression
-M Do not create a manifest file for the entries
-C change to the specified directory and include the following file
-E don't include the files found in a directory
-@ Read names from stdin
If any file is a directory then it is processed recursively.
The manifest file name and the archive file name needs to be specified
in the same order the 'm' and 'f' flags are specified.
Example 1: to archive two class files into an archive called classes.jar:
jar cvf classes.jar Foo.class Bar.class
Example 2: use an existing manifest file 'mymanifest' and archive all the
files in the foo/ directory into 'classes.jar':
jar cvfm classes.jar mymanifest -C foo/ .
