Hi David,

Yes, it does help.  Altough we're hopefully about to release 1.12, which
will contain many improvements to gnu.xml.*, so chances are your problem
will go away.

I suggest you either wait a couple of hours for SableVM SDK 1.12 or you
can immediately fetch SableVM SDK 1.12-pre4 from

    http://sablevm.org/people/gadek/sablevm-sdk-1.12-pre4.tar.gz 

If the bug is still there...  Well, it seems to me that it's a class
library problem, so it's best to fill a bugreport "upstream" which
is in the GNU Classpath's BTS.  (this is the upstream for SableVM's
class library)
