Hi All.

I have a number of installation related issues with
sablevm on my ipaq running familiar linux. I was
following the post
http://sablevm.org/lists/sablevm-user/2005-April/000275.html
by rene wagner.

Due to space restrictions i had to install sablevm on
my SD card mounted on /media/card

I am not a experinced linux user and am confused by
library and shared library errors.

My directories look something like this:
/media/card/usr -> bin lib share include

/media/card/usr/bin -> javac-sablevm java-sablevm
jikes sablevm

/media/card/usr/lib ->
libsablevm-1.12.so libstdc++.so.6.0.3
ipkg            libsablevm.la       sablevm
libltdl.so.3    libsablevm.so       sablevm-classpath
libltdl.so.3.1.0    libstdc++.so.6

and so on.

How do i configure my classpath,bootclasspath e.t.c
e.t.c?

All i have done so far is include these directories on
my PATH.
but..
#sablevm
sablevm: error while loading shared libraries:
libltdl.so.3: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

#jikes
jikes: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

though both these lib files are there in the
/media/card/usr/lib directory and i have included them
in my path environment.

Do i need to do somethign with LD_LIBRARY_PATH?I am
not even sure how to use it.

Thanks,
Vinod
