Hi Martin, SableVM uses GNU Classpath for its class libraries. I am not a specialist of GNU Classpath and its AWT code. Maybe someone else on this list knows more about this code, but you might want to also ask for help on the GNU Classpath mailing list: http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/classpath The developers of the AWT code are subscribed to that list. Hoping this helps. :-) Etienne Martin Cordova wrote: > Hi, I finally was able to build SableVM and classpath, after upgrading > to SuSE 9..3 and installing a lot of Gtk/Gnome stuff. > > I am running without a graphics environment, and using the flag: > > -Djava.awt.headless=true > > But whenever my webapp tries to generate a Chart as PNG (using > JFreeChart), the JVM crashes complaining about not finding a GTK > Map/Device/Something like that. > > When using Sun/IBM/Blackdown, all I need to generate charts in memory > are the XWindows shared libraries (XOrg Libs in SuSE), using the > -Djava.awt.headless=true parameter. > > Is there a workaround with SableVM and Classpath?
