It compiles and runs threaded and networked java application on Gentoo
Linux running on the Alpha architecture.

Gentoo on Alpha users...
I have an experimental ebuild here:
http://cs.ubishops.ca/~tcort/sablevm-sdk.tar.gz Just untar it in the
dev-java directory of your portage overlay and type emerge
sablevm-sdk.
