Actually, this is possible; SableVM's new license is compatible with
both Classpath and Harmony.

The problem is...  I personally do not have the time to take care of
class library updates, and none of the students working with SableVM is
 dedicating any time, these days, to SableVM's maintenance.  Chris is
now an exception, having contibuted an answer to the mailing list...

[Believe it or not: there are currently 5 M.Sc. students in the final
phase of their thesis work this Fall on a SableVM related project.
Unfortunately, none seems interested to help, as they have other
priorities...  Such is life!]

So, if anybody is interested to help updating the class library (and any
library interface code) to the latest Classpath version, I will grant
the appropriate Subversion access.
