Hi, First i want to port sablevm on ARM. My board has 64M RAM and 32M Flash. It uses Intel Xscale PXA255 processor. It has got xwindows, serial port, usb, audio interfaces. I want to port sablevm and sable-classpath so that i can use it to develop GUI, access serial, USB do audio using java. I wanted to know whether sable-classpath can be built to use my xserver? If yes, then what is the configure option? My Application will not take inputs from touchscreen if X is not used. Also as the size of entire port is around 27 MB I am not able to copy and extract it on my board. I have to do it partwise and create all the links manually. I dont know if this might cause the hanging problem. I tried using "switch" but it has same problem. I will now try "direct" and see what happens. After sablevm hangs i did ctrl \ and the output is as follows: (StackTraceElement.java:-1) java/lang/StackTraceElement.<init> (Throwable.java:-1) java/lang/Throwable.nativeGetStackTraceList n (Throwable.java:515) java/lang/Throwable.fillInStackTrace (Throwable.java:163) java/lang/Throwable.<init> (Exception.java:78) java/lang/Exception.<init> (RuntimeException.java:76) java/lang/RuntimeException.<init> (NullPointerException.java:80) java/lang/NullPointerException.<init> (VMRuntime.java:-1) java/lang/VMRuntime.nativeLoad n (Runtime.java:684) java/lang/Runtime.loadLib (Runtime.java:671) java/lang/Runtime.load (Runtime.java:750) java/lang/Runtime.loadLibrary (System.java:670) java/lang/System.loadLibrary (FileChannelImpl.java:81) gnu/java/nio/channels/FileChannelImpl.<clinit> (VMClass.java:-1) java/lang/VMClass.step8 n (Class.java:145) java/lang/Class.initialize (FileDescriptor.java:62) java/io/FileDescriptor.<clinit> (VMClass.java:-1) java/lang/VMClass.step8 n (Class.java:145) java/lang/Class.initialize (VMSystem.java:153) java/lang/VMSystem.makeStandardInputStream (System.java:238) java/lang/System.<clinit> (VMClass.java:-1) java/lang/VMClass.step8 n (Class.java:145) java/lang/Class.initialize (String.java:464) java/lang/String.<init> (String.java:231) java/lang/String.<init> (StringCreator.java:78) java/lang/StringCreator.createString (StringCreator.java:108) java/lang/StringCreator.createInternedString (String.java:94) java/lang/String.<clinit> (VMClass.java:-1) java/lang/VMClass.step8 n (Class.java:145) java/lang/Class.initialize version for this is: SableVM version 1.1.5 - compile date and time: 2004-07-20 13:27:08 UTC - gcc version: 3.3.1 - signal based exception detection - copying garbage collection - bidirectional object layout - switch threaded interpreter Thanks and regards Asutosh ===================================== ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grzegorz B.
