Lane,

Can you give more details on this?  I just cut and pasted from your 
message into a template and it worked fine for me.  What kind of error 
are you seeing?  What is your environment? 

Remember that the session scope will only work if you are using a 
WebContext (i.e., WM was instantiated with a Servlet argument).  If you 
are running in a non-Servlet environment, try changing the scope to 
application or global.
