What is Relay?

Relay For Life is an impactful, overnight experience that
mobilises cancer survivors and the community to stand together in the fight
against cancer.

Relay is organised by a volunteer committee who drive work
places, schools, churches or families in the community to enter a group and
create awareness on the event.

At the heart of a Relay For Life is the way to celebrate cancer
survivors and caregivers, to remember those who have left us and create
awareness about about cancer.

Why do we Relay?

CANSA Relay For Life embraces entire communities, from the very
young to the old.

groups stay out overnight and have at least one group member
walking around the track the entire time, because cancer never slumbers or
sleeps.

CANSA Relay For Life is a great event and provides entertainment
throughout the night.
