Link to user guide no longer there

Hi,

Apologies for the clarity of this but I have read so much today on workflow
and other stuff that the clarity part of my brain is being swamped by other
stuff. Product of age I think.

Firstly, Bob had a link to a user guide in this list,
http://eng.werken.com/~bob/werkflow-guide.pdf, this no longer works. The
idiom page on the website is not really enough for me to get a handle on how
the syntax works. Once I 'get it' I am happy to contribute syntax examples
for each of the cases (based on those shown at
http://tmitwww.tm.tue.nl/research/patterns/patterns.htm)

I note that the archives for the interest group and CVS seem to peter out
around the 10th April. Has development stopped for the moment? If so si the
use of the engine at Zenplex a production environment? The reason I ask is
that I am investigating replacement of linked scheduled tasks I have in my
product with a pucka workflow engine where the outcome from a task can have
a decision made about what to do next. So once I have identified a engine
strategically 'right' with the right licence I will have a go at integrating
it.

The FAQ page for werkflow makes a reference to using werkflow both as an
engine for orchestrating tasks humans carry out (through a web interface
typically) and also at a micro level for user interface flows. Is there
anywhere any elaboration on this tantalizing statement? This interests me
greatly, I just finished a contract where they claimed they were building a
workflow designer for building logic for web applications. It was no such
thing but the idea interested me just the same. I am sure werkflow using
prevayler will be fast enough to support the latter of these 2. The concept
that I only need to learn one engine that accomodates both of these ends is
very attractive.
