There is significant amount of logging in plugins,
but it is guarded  vor debug category and it is done
via commons logging.

Category is: org.generama.defaults.QDoxPlugin

You may also try actual version of plugins / xdoclet /
generama ( generama is now: at 1.2.2,or 1.2.3-SNAPSHOT
), xdoclet is at 2.0.5 / 2.0.6-SNAPSHOT,  and plugins 
are at 1.0.3 / 1.0.4-SNAPSHOT - and snapshot is
improved against released 1.0.3

You can get everything from legacy maven repository on
codehaus ( and there are ant tasks, which will help
you
to retrieve necessary artifacts automatically:
http://maven.apache.org/ant-tasks.html )

and interfaces) and struts xml files. All in all it
does work BUT it is awfully slow. If the plugins are
started I see a lot of debug output that I'm not
interested in. Is it possible to turn off all the
XDoclet debug output and so to significantly
accelerate the whole generation stuff ? Even if I use
the -q ant option it takes quite long. 
Since it takes so long for a few files it will be a
show stopper later on in the project.
