Well, this problem is more maven as xdoclet ( and I'm not that savvy in maven2 despite rewriting xdoclet 2 plugin yet ) You may generate mappings for the beans in project containing them though. Alternative would be to depend to put sources somehow on classpath so xdoclet can access them.
