Can I use mergedir in Hibernate plugin?

Hi,
I use hibernate-plugin which ships with xdoclet-plugins-1.0.3 and
I really need to use merge as in XD1.
However I don't find a way to merge.
I use Ant and try the following task:

<component classname="org.xdoclet.plugin.hibernate.HibernateMappingPlugin"
             destdir="${path.target.webapp.classes}"
            version="3.0"
            mergedir="${path.metadata.build}/merge"/>

And got this error:
