I grabbed the snapshot (xdoclet-plugin-hibernate-1.0.4-SNAPSHOT.jar)
but still get "generated is an invalid parameter name."

In qtags.xml I found the following with no "generated" attribute
element:

<tag name="@hibernate.version" doc="Declares a version property. The
<version> element is optional and indicates that the table
contains
versioned data. This is particularly useful if you plan to use long
transactions" target="method field">
    <attribute name="unsaved-value" doc="A version property value that
indicates that an instance is newly instantiated (unsaved),
distinguishing
it from detached instances that were saved or loaded in a previous
session. (undefined specifies that
the identifier property value should be used.)" allowed="null negative
undefined" required="false"/>
    <attribute name="type" doc="Specify hibernate type"
required="false"/>
    <attribute name="access" doc="The strategy Hibernate should use for
accessing the property value." required="false"/>
    <attribute name="column" doc="Specifies database column. If not
specified hibernate will guess based on property name"
required="false"/>
  </tag>

Perhaps the patch is in source but not in the SNAPSHOT?

Thanks
Ben

as always it is deployed on codehaus legacy repository (
http://dist.codehaus.org )

if you would use m2 to build, you will get it automatically.
