I would say that hibernate forum is a bit wrong place
for such questions.  As none of active developers of
xdoclet are known to read this.

Look into sources of plugins - test cases are perfect
examples how this can be done. As current plugin build
works, they are corect.  This class may be of interest
to you:

org.xdoclet.plugin.hibernate.compositeId.separated_pk_class.CompositeIdBean
( in plugin-hibernate/src/test/java )


There also different examples too ( PK as inner class
or interface )
