how to develop a new module

where can i find a tutorial about this?i try to have a new module by modifying an existing one from xdoclet source, unfortunately i couldn't. i always get ATTRIBUTE_NOT_PRESENT_ERROR arguments: [Ljava.lang.String;@a084f8 error. i think i couldnt manage to have a new ant tag. where can i find a tutorial or an example that i can build and integrate with my eclipse easyly?
