Mike Smith commented on XDT-294:
--------------------------------

Hello,

I am going through the same situation as described in the previous posts and in the process of trying to upgrade from Weblogic Server 7.0/JDK 1.3.1_06 to Weblogic Server 8.1/JDK 1.4.2_08 using ANT 1.5.4 for the build. After pulling many hairs out of my head I came across your post in the XDoclet forum dating back to 16/Nov/03. My sincere hope is that after almost 3 years you were finally able to resolve this issue. It is the exact same issue we face and I cannot for the life of me figure out a solution. In fact, there are methods in some local interfaces that aren't even created. In any case, if you could share some light on this as a result of some of the grief you went through it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Buster

> I'm trying to upgrade from JDK 1.3.1 to 1.4.1. When running Xdoclet with 1.4.1 ant is throwing the following error:
> [java] ERROR: Error from ejbc: Unable to set the transaction attribute for method "setCMR_CATEGORY(Category)". No matching method could be found. Please verify the method signature specified in
> the ejb-jar.xml file matches that of your EJB.
> [java] ERROR: ejbc found errors
> There exists a CategoryEJB that is being compile inside the ejb-jar. It seems that all references to other EJBs in the same JAR file do not get fully qualified class names in the ejb-jar.xml file.
> The same code works fine with 1.3.1.
