What do your tags look like?
The following are from one of mine, where I get

    <ejb-class>x.y.z.ValidateBean</ejb-class>

 * @ejb.bean
 *          name="Validate"
 *          type="Stateless"
 *          jndi-name="ejb/Validate"
 *          local-jndi-name="ejb/local/Validate"
 *          transaction-type="Bean"
 *          local-business-interface="ValidateLocalBI"
 *          remote-business-interface="ValidateBusinessInterface"
 *          view-type="both"
