xdoclet does not have means to call your ant tasks
or whatever. instead it is packaged as ant task ( or
maven plugin, orm maven 2 mojo )  and can be called by
it. 

it seems that you like to write own plugin.  

you got choice: do it for XDoclet 1, or for XDoclet 2
( lter is IMHO easier )
