JBoss got better support.  Geronimo is also very good.

I do not now.  It can be used as maven-2 plugin though
and tag edition  is supported by doclipse ( fromal
tag descriptions are placed in plugin jar files )

I do not use build capabilities of eclipse - 
there has to be clean build without any IDE.
