Hi There, I have a certain known tasks that are common to certain developer/acceptor groups. Is there a way to copy tasks in XPlanner. I know, I can do it by doing a SQL data import to task table. Will the IDs and timestamp generated will maintain integrity? It is a planned or unplanned feature. I don't see this common feature available. Is there a way to import tasks like user stories? Are you a developer yourself? Put yourself in my shoes and then ask yourself what information would you needed in order to troubleshoot your problem? THEN write the email to request support. That will save everybody some time! Also a little bit of courtesy would be nice... A thank sometimes makes a world of difference when you do not pay for support. So now back to business: What database are your running? What version are you upgrading from or is it a brand new install? What package are you trying to install? Have you followed the steps in the README.txt in respect to setting xplanner-customer.properties properly? Could you dump it here? I was trying various combinations after looking at the log. Atlast the database reinitialization worked. I had posted the detailed message but the mailing list bounces back saying the message content is larger than 60 KB. ) Message body is too big: 131571 bytes with a limit of 60 KB I guess xplanner patch upgrade scripts have some problem applying patch to a partially setup database(due to tomcat deploy errors) Answers to your questions: What database are your running? MySql 5.x(Oracle didn't work has issues with 10g Driver for Oracle 9i DB) What version are you upgrading from or is it a brand new install?None,Brand New. The DB Scripts in XPlanner is written to setup the old schema and upgrade[I find it from Tomcat log]. What package are you trying to install? I was just letting the deployer setup the packages Have you followed the steps in the README.txt in respect to setting xplanner-customer.properties properly? Yes. Could you dump it here? *********************** XPLANNER INFO ************************ Build: Version: 0.7b7 Build Date: 05/24/2006 Build Revision: 1149 Build Package: War Database: Dialect: com.technoetic.xplanner.db.hibernate.XPlannerMySQLDialect Driver: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver Driver Version: mysql-connector-java-3.1.12 ( $Date: 2005-11-17 15:53:48 +0100 (Thu, 17 Nov 2005) $, $Revision$ ) Database Vendor: MySQL Database Version: 5.0.24-community-nt Database Name: xplanner Database Url: jdbc:mysql://localhost/xplanner Database User Name: xplanner Database User Password: ****** Database Patch Level: 3 App Server: Application Server: Apache Tomcat/5.5.12 Servlet Version: 2.4 System: System Date: Aug 23, 2006 System Time: 3:11:54 PM Current directory: C:\apache-tomcat-5.5.12\bin Java Version: 1.5.0_04 Java Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.
