I think that is not depending from xplanner, but with the servlet container.

In general, I don't think there aren't even any things a servlet
conatiner could do to prevent that.
The mod_proxy is basically nothing else than a normal "client" to the
webserver of the servlet container, and just forwarding http requests
in one direction, and the replies in the other.

That said, I haven't tried it with xplanner and a java servlet
container - with a rails server mod_proxy works without problems once
the right config is in place.
