My configuration is very simple. I used the following directives to achieve 
what I need:

ProxyPass /xplanner http://server:8080/xplanner
ProxyPassReverse /xplanner http://server:8080/xplanner

In this case only /xplanner application works via proxy and it is available 
only via HTTP.
