Given that we now have explicit naming for this, in Nitrogen we can do:

childadded ++= function(v) {
  $target.childadded = v;
}

Only 'childadded' doesn't sound right in the write context.

Should we drop the -ed just for semantics sake?

childadded / childremoved
or childadd / childremove
or addchild / removechild

or addchild / dropchild

I like the last ones (hence I threw 'em in).
