It's ok, I was mildly mistaken; you can use boxes and objects as hashes
without problem.  The issue comes when you try to concat a string to a
box ("" + box).  Tupshin has prepared a patch (that I think he's going
to refine before doing make propose-patch) that takes a better approach,
issuing a warning (that the box id as a string will not be unique)
instead of dying.
