Fixes and updates

In order to help progress with the widgets, and the kind sponsorship by
somebody who I'll not name at this time (not sure if they want naming or
not), I've had time to work on and fix some problems with the core and
will do so to ensure all layout problems _go_away_ and the widgets can
quickly progress.

Given my Java inexperience, the fixes to the core might not be coded
ideally but they will always work as I'm testing them thoroughly.

An up2date version of the core I'm using can be found here, so you can
test things without pulling/compiling:

I'm also working closely with Tupshin on this and he has been a great
help for the last several weeks so just as much credit is due his way as
it ever would be mine.

I will also have some hack patches (for example, parseInt/parseFloat in
ibex.math) which serve the purpose of letting things work whilst
somebody else (in this case Brian) fixes the problem properly, but these
will always be for trivial issues.
