But don't forget that the *reason* so much work has gone into linear programming algorithms, is because many linear programming problems are brutishly hard., and many can't even be solved in a realistic amount of time. I'm not saying that this reflow problem fits into that category, but just being able to express it as a linear programming problem doesn't make it tractable. -Tupshin
