I have been staying out of these discussions for two main reasons.  1. I don't 
understand the details and have only been living vicariously though Brian, 
Charlie and Tupshin when it comes to Ibex, and 2. I was hoping that you would 
stop playing this sick game of follow-the-leader you seem to be fixated on.

Adam, Charlie isn't dumb.  He's done an *insane* amount of work on the widget 
set and has been trying very hard to keep up to you.  We all know that you 
are one smart cookie.  I don't even begin to understand the theory behind 
some of this speed improvement stuff that you, Tupshin, David and Brian have 
been discussing.  It's very, *very* good that we have a leader and a number 
of worker bees who not only understand this stuff but can also implement it.  
I am a lowly division manager who has the power to put Ibex into very key 
locations at the company I work for and who also has a large influence on a 
number of biggish (hundreds of employees) companies in my (admittedly small) 
Canadian town.  I don't understand a lot of what you guys discuss, but I 
don't have to.  I know that Ibex has some seriously exciting potential and I 
have already rolled out XWT (Lithium) with great success.

I've been watching these API changes fly by with *zero* discussion, and then 
when people (mostly Charlie, since he is just about the only person who has 
to fight with the fallout from the API changes at this time) ask questions 
they get flippant, smart-ass answers like the one above.  

Please, Adam, I *implore you* -- don't play us.  If you haven't got time to 
discuss what you're changing, then do not change it and "make it law".  Ibex 
development simply cannot be a dictatorship -- if that is what you want then 
I am positive that you will be developing the core and the widget set on your 
own, and I am willing to bet that is not what you want, nor what you have 
time to do.

Nobody can keep up to a moving target, especially one moving at something just 
slightly under the speed of light.  We all know that Ibex is *your* baby.  
You don't have to rub our noses in it.
