What else? Demos

Tomorrow, the entire department is going on a gee-won't-it-be-fun-attendance-mandatory bustrip. About the only positive thing that I can see in that is that I'll be stuck in a bus for two hours with my manager, which means he can't readily escape. This may just be *the* time to introduce XWT here. A client has been asking for a non-IIS implementation; I want to propose a J2EE backend and a XWT frontend. Officially I'm not allowed to create new stuff, but since we're in maintenance, I might be able to get away with 'more maintanable than ASP+DHTML'. My question, then: will the demos be online monday? I cannot talk about this to my manager if I can't show working demos on monday. Which isn't that big of a problem in and of itself, as long as I have a decent indication of what their status will be. If they probably won't be working (with Moz and IE6, behind a proxy so xmlrpc.xwt.org must work too) I'll postpone my proposal until we get the next fun day out. Which may be never if we're lucky. I need an answer before 0400 tomorrow morning (GMT), or I will have to assume the answer is 'no'. Emile _______________________________________________ http://lists.xwt.org/listinfo/dev
