OK, but already handled how? And I want the login widgets to appear on top.

There's something in the ML archives that I found, but while it does 
implement modal pretty good, you can't force the 'popup' to stay on top, 
so it's easy for that window to disappear beneath another. This 
behaviour is going to be confusing to many of my users, so I would in 
fact *prefer* the login-covers-app method until modal windows (including 
  stay-on-top) is implemented. If ever.
