It simulates an x86 computer, in fact. You can run (pretty much) any
x86-compatible OS in it.

P.S.: as a personal request, I really prefer to read Q-A style mail (see
my text above) as opposed to top-posted mail where your reply is above
the text you're actually answering to. I get quite a bit of mail, and I
need the original text to establish context. Reading from bottom to top
scrolling back-and-forth is quite cumbersome, especially on the
