[xwt-users] RPC/servlet session state with XWT?

Does anyone have a sample of logging in and maintaining session state
using XWT with xml-rpc under Tomcat (java servlets)? [I tested
HttpSession's .getSession() but it seems ignored.]
I saw an email from March where the person said they passed a sessionId
they made up back and forth, no further details though.
Also does anyone have a good example of interacting with fields between
XWT and the servlet?
Things like:
-filling in a scrollable array 'spreadsheet' (output only)
-Any generic way to detect which fields where changed? [Otherwise in the
callback function I would just keep a list of changes to send as needed.]
The TicTacToe example is assuming a stateless servlet and always
resending all data.
-The idea is treating XWT more as an 'application' itself than just
a 'dumb' GUI display.
Thanks,
-Jeff
