Well, unfortunately your personal taste - which on this matter is similar to many other members of the XWT project - does not necessarily reflect the 'not overly technical' world opinion, which will make up a large portion of future XWT users. They tend to prefer forums; the Gentoo forums again being a case in point where most people subscribe the fora but only a minority to the mailing list or #gentoo. Also, assuming large XWT popularity at point X in the future, fora are again a better communication mechanism with the mass public. Not many people will want to sift through more then double figures of mail from the mailing list in a day. Really, how useful is a mailing list when it gets so busy that you just don't have time to read it? You get to discriminate at a glance in fora by disregarding entire threads, something much harder to do with mail. I'm not saying 'must' nor 'now', but just don't discount something because you don't like it. ;) - Charlie
