[xwt-users] Backends to use with XWT?

Has anyone given thought to what backends they might use with XWT to 
construct a new application?

Up to this point I have interfaced to legacy code and used xmlrpc-c 
(which required repairs and isn't an 'active' project) with C.

My first preference would be Java/C. Perl/PHP having lower priority.

[I have been reading the lists since July 2003 and went back into the 
history for more insites.
Charlie and I talked last night about thoughts on this topic as well.]

Anyone have thoughts?
