I've come up with another candidate: polarizable
Ok, we need to pick one and I'll commit the changes:
- linearable
I've gone of this one, the definitions from dictionary.com
just don't fit the purpose.
- orientable
Fairly straight forward, but possibly a little inaccurate
as a description. After all, every box has an orient which
can be changed and is hence 'orientable'.
- polarizable
This is 'bang on' as an accurate description. The whole
purpose of onedimensional.xwt is to polarize the view of
widget code so that it functions regardless of whether the
orient is horizontal or vertical.
As the new, self proclaimed Widget Czar, I'm going with polarizable unless
I get any major objections over the next few days. It fits and it sounds
good (linearable sounded horrible in my mind). As usual, we're going with
the American spelling (which it turns out is based on Old English anyhow).
Thoughts?
