Well, arguably the betas will be hitting the 'usable' stage, although
the RCs should work completely (ie any bugs should be minor) and have an
API set in stone.

I'm trying to be _realistic_.  One of the many problems with my
representation of XWT to other people, often in irc, is that I've said
'come back in a month' or 'yeah, in the next few weeks' and it's just
never been that.

I heard, somewhere, an phrase that should be applied to all IT: take
your best guess at a deadline and double it.
