    I was planning on doing this one, but it's right down the

    Why manage complex projects through a web interface, when
    we have ibex.ui.

    Jabber is open, and has server-side gateways to every other IM.
    Imagine if you could pop up a Jabber window on a website. Make
    a great chat-room replacement.

  - ibex.viewer     - The universal viewer

    When dynamic-parsing is possible with ANTLR (or that built-in
    grammar), we can display anything. PDF, PS, SVG, JPG, PNG, GIF,
    TIFF, JP2, HTML, XML (+ XSLT), Mime Messages, even DOC, XLS,
    PPT (shudder).

    A ton of work. But I'd love to outdo Apple's Preview. If it
    supported hyperlinks, and you added a Back button, you could
    even rename it ibex.browser. ;)

  - ibex.blog       - LiveJournal/K5/Slash client

    This would be better than a standard web interface, because it
    would have a WYSIWYG editor for the post contents.

  - ibex.cal        - Calendar/Groupware Interface

    Put it together with ibex.mail and ibex.cms, and life is good.

  - ibex.knoppix    - Fill the graphical gaps in Knoppix.

    I think this may be impossible, but imagine an
    XML-RPC to Unix bridge, so you could manage USB, Modems,
    configuration, installation, dial information, volume levels,
    X, etc, etc. Then you could whip up quick and simple interfaces
    to fill all the gaps left in Knoppix.

    Truth be told, it would probably be better to build them as KDE
    Control Centre modules, but this is still on my list.

  - ibex.games.*   - Online games

    Chess, Go, Checkers, Reversi, Card games (all 800 of them),
    etc etc etc.


No shortage of ideas, just time.
