I do lament that lithium was dropped prematurely in favour of nitrogen since that has made it virtually impossible for anyone to start using XWT for any serious project. I for one have been looking for full functional table widgets and gave up on getting them to work for lithium. Anyway it is exciting that Nitrogen and Alpha3 widgets (with tables) are fast approaching release. I'll be keeping up with the mailing lists again. Speaking of mailing lists I really think it is necessary to close the users list to anonymous posting. The reason I dropped of this list last year was all the spam that it attracts and still gets! It's not that hard for anyone interested to join the list. I doubt very much closing it to members only would loose any serious punter to XWT (Ibex). (Adam are you listening? :-) When I first heard of the name change to Ibex I didn't like the term and couldn't see what was wrong with XWT. But now I'm getting to like it. XWT was difficult to pronounce and doesn't have a nice animal to go with the O'Reily book :-) Lars Norved Research & Development Laboratory Australian Broadcasting Corporation
