Yeah seriously.  There's no way to make a square icon that looks good
out of those three letters.  Anybody who remembers the old NeXT icon
can attest to this.

The problem with a pictoral (rather than textual) icon is that XWT, by
definition, XWT has no "look" or "feel".  Sorta like X11 sans
gtk/motif/kde.

Perhaps XWT needs an icon akin to Apple's Apple or Microsoft's flying
window.  But both of those icons are obvious because the thing they
stand for happens to be a real, physical object (a window or an
apple).  What did the amiga logo look like?  I don't think OS/2 ever
had a logo.

I'd like to downplay the XML aspect a bit; when I named XWT, there was
a lot of hype around XML, so having "XML" in the name automatically
made things cool.  To be sure, the fact that XWT uses XML is cool, but
that's only 10% of its coolness.  Also, XML (and the constellation of
standards encompassing it) has become ridiculously bloated in the last
two years, and I don't want to give anybody the impression that XWT
will be supporting all of the asinine XML-related standards that the
w3c is cranking out.
