I like the angle brackets to imply XML. How about something 
along the theme of the BOX that is that heart of XWT? Also 
I think it is important to demonstrate the ability to alpha 
blend so the logo should not be square but maybe round with 
proper transparency to the background. 

Other aspects that would be nice to represent is 
cross-platform and thin-frontend but I don't know how 
you would do that.
