Dynamic process definition

Hi,
I'm just starting using jBMP but already have my first question.
Is there a way to build a process definition dynamically? I'll explain
what I want. Let's say I define a workflow for an issue-managing system.
So a task (issue) has its workflow and on a certain stage I want to
split it onto several sub-tasks and later perform synchronization over
these sub-tasks. But the number of the subtasks is not predefined and
should be chosen dynamically. =20
