Fwd: SuSE 8.0 and KDE 3.1alpha RPMS?

Dear KDE Alpha Group,

I noticed on the KDE Website there are links to KDE 3.1 Rpm's made
for SUSE 8.0. How do I install these? I ran the command
rpm --install --force kde*.rpm and they seemed to install but then
my SuSE was all sorts of messed up. Do I have to run suseconfig
or something afterwards? Do I install the RPMs with different parameters?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
