problems with running kde3.1-rc6

Hello list,

I compiled kde3.1-rc6 on a redhat 7.3 box, using gcc-3.2.1. I did so from 
source, because repeated attempts to compile this using konstruct failed. 
After having compiled the following:

arts-1.1
kdebase-3.1rc6
kdelibs-3.1rc6
libart_lgpl-2.3.11
libxml2-2.4.30
libxslt-1.0.23  
qt-x11-free-3.1.1

I started kde to get the error message I attached at the end of this 
email. Can anyone give me a hint as to what the problem could be? I set 
all the library paths I thought, isn't that what the error message with 
those symbols refers to?
