Fwd: KDE shirt/gear designs

Joshua,

Thanks for the submission.  This sounds like a good concept to me.  Here are
some things to consider...I'm hoping they're helpful somehow :)

- Would it make sense to add these slogans on the shirt somewhere?  Would
adding the slogans help make the inspiration for this logo more explicit and
understandable to a person looking at it?

- How would playing with the number of silhouettes in the logo change the
feel of the design?  If you add the 3 slogans would it make sense to also go
with only 3 silhouettes to match them?

- How do you foresee this being laid out on the shirt?  Smaller version of
this picture and centered?  Taking up a large portion of the front?

- Would anything be included on the front or back of the shirt?

- Do the logo colors make sense on an array of shirt colors?  i.e. In this
case as it is right now this might look good on a white shirt, the
silhouettes may "disappear" into the background on a black shirt.  Are there
other colors this logo might look good or bad on top of?  (this may or may
not matter at all to you, just something to consider)

Anyhow, I'm not a design genius or an artist so I'm going to copy on the KDE
Artists mailing list on here too for feedback (SVG file attached).  Also, if
anyone else here on the promo list has any ideas to expand this idea please
speak up.
